Since graduating with a film making degree in 2004 Philip Pugh has directed and produced dozens of short films, corporate videos, music videos, virals and promos for various brands and companies including E4, Endemol, Love Food Hate Waste and The Ministry of Defence.
Own Worst Enemy is his second feature film following up on 2009’s multi-award winning feature One Minutes.

Nigel Martin Davey | Co-Producer
Nigel has produced acclaimed films and original stage productions including the films Expresso (featuring Sir Norman Wisdom’s last film appearance) & Waiting in Rhyme (Les Dennis, Geoffrey Hughes, Sally Lindsay), and the stage show Survive (Directed by celebrated West End director Carole Todd, starring Hannah Waterman, Guy Henry, Jean Boht with Dame Judi Dench as the shows patron).
Nigel is currently producing the ground breaking feature film All That Remains; a docu-drama about the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki.
Having frequently worked with Nigel Davey over the past 8 years on a range of different projects, Own Worst Enemy writer/director Philip Pugh is delighted to have Nigel on board once more for this production.

Laura Howie | Director of Photography
Throughout nearly a decade of working within the industry Laura has worked on a variety of projects including Wes Anderson’s animated feature film Fantastic Mr. Fox, the Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit and recently she completed a two-year role on The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists – the latest 3D feature from Aardman. Continuing her work for Aardman she also worked as lighting camera on the short stop-motion film So You Want to be a Pirate. Her work as Director of Photography includes the live action short film Spaceboy which was shot on the RED Epic in 2012 to be released in 2013 and a long running documentary project Who Do You Love? The King Adora Story which was released in 2012. She also shot additional photography in Arizona for a feature documentary on the residents of Tombstone as well as behind the scenes footage at Brisfest 2012.
